Re-visited this place by camping in the new Oteniks that have been built for all season camping. No utensils or cutlery required - they are provided and there is a gas powered stove and heating. The kids loved it and we plan to go again. From there, there are other places of interest to visit. Just bring your blankets, pillows, food and whatever is suitable for the season.

A fantastic place to visit and observe the sun set. Plant and animal species in abundance, coupled with wooden planks built over the lake for walkers. There are various viewpoints one can just climb up to take a photographic view of the "swamp" with its beautiful plant life. Lots of tortoise ( breeding season) and the kids loved that.

One of the best parks North America has to offer. So many things to do as a family or by yourself. A wide range of activities from camping to school trips. Only issue I've ever had didn't have anything to do with the park, but instead was based on the pollution in Lake Erie. Can't wait to return there with the family again this year!!

There are no camping grounds as yet - but that will not be for long. Construction of campgrounds, Otentiks and Yurts are in progress and we were advised they would be ready September/October 2017. We look forward to that. If there is one place to go camping, this is definitely it.

No camping on-site; however Wheatley Provincial Park is just a short drive away!

This tiny park had really invested in itself over the past few years and it shows. There are plenty of trails that are easy to walk or bike. There are canoe rentals, a lookout, visitor centre, YMCA kids camp, beautiful beaches( don't swim by the tip because of currents) newly added rental facility on the beach with tables, kitchenette, fire pit and bathrooms. I love the history of the park and it is explained at their exhibits. It is unique in Canada for its Forest and rare species. A great place to make family memories. The visitor centre has A lot to do as well including exhibits, theatre, kids explore area, info, sightings and a store. Their is a shuttle to the tip but it's also nice to bike or walk. This park is part of my childhood and now part of my new memories. I would recommend this park any day.

Great accessibility for the most part. You can walk, run, bike and even cross country ski here. Lots of trails and open beach. Not so great for swimming (and not recommended at the peak) but the sand is lovely to sit on with a nice book. Lots of visitors on the weekend especially last year because the national parks pass. Very well maintained.

Then there is the beach and nicely created areas, including along the coast to barbecue, swim and relax. The sun was out and the water cool.

Most Southernmost point of Canada does not disappoint! Great scenery, amazing variety of birds and sandy beaches. Also home to a very cool marsh boardwalk!
