  Michelle was the staff member at the bar and I thought she was amazing. So friendly and she kept me company while I ate dinner. Which is a big deal when you travel by yourself all the time. It was nice to have human interaction!

  Feb 10 we arrived at the hotel and we received our three rooms numbers we noticed that, we were on third floor and we did not have connecting rooms. When we questioned the woman at the front desk she told us we booked the wrong room type and since we booked online they couldn’t do anything to help us. Our rooms were located at the farthest point away from all the kid friendly activities that this hotel offers (which we had noted in the original reservation and the first phone call that we wanted to be near). We had to drag our luggage and kids up three different sets of stairs to find our rooms. Upon entering our room we were greeted by freezing cold temperatures. I guess they save money by not heating the rooms but in -15 degree weather, they could just keep the temperature low to give the guest a better experience. All three rooms had their heat off so we know this is a hotel policy, not a fluke.

  I've been twice. The first time wasn't the best experience as the roof was leaking, water slides were closed due to maintenance and air conditioning was broken but they accommodated us to have another stay. The last time we went it was much better but the pool was closed the first night for some reason so there were a million kids in the play area. The indoor playground is great but parents continue to get wasted while their kids trample young toddlers. I think the next time we go it will be when our son is a little older. Other than that the rooms are nice, clean and the service is great.

  Just disappointing....it’s family day. People want to come here because of the water slide attractions. The rate for checking in on a holiday is higher then a weekday rate which one would assume because of the holiday and that all attractions would be open!!!! We came here because of that. I’ve now heard three other families expressing disappointment at them being closed, they stated they came here specifically because of the water slides. Will never come here again or recommend it to a friend or family member. Hard working families deserve to get their money’s worth. Super disappointed.

  At the pool the lifeguards are a joke they stood around talking and not watching anything that was going on. We paid for the wristbands however noted that only 10% of the guests using the slides were wearing them. We had to have our room key replaced twice during our stay and the families staying with us had to each have theirs replaced once.

  This hotel is out of town so I appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The hotel staff were amazing. I have to say I was extremely impressed with the service and friendliness of all the staff I encountered.

  Stayed here for one night. The hotel is nice. The interior is new and updated. My room was immaculate and the pillows are so soft.

  At this point we were frustrated so two of the adults in our party went to the front desk asked if they would give us breakfast on the house because of the frustrations with the reservations and rooms. and was told they couldn’t make the decision on breakfast but we could speak with a manager on Monday (we were checking out on Sunday so this didn’t help us). We did not accept this and insisted a manager was called at home. The front desk called us an hour later to inform us that her manager agreed with her and they weren’t going to do anything for us. Our room appeared to be clean and smelt fine. Upon further investigation we found old garbage and candy on the floor under the bed, behind the chair and in along the walls and Our TV only had a few channels that would work. At this point, we weren’t even going to bother telling the front desk and just cleaned it up ourselves and made due with our tablets for TV time.

  February 5 I once again called the hotel to confirm all the details. At that point I was told that they were not able to give us rooms on the first floor as those rooms had to be booked different than how we booked them. When I expressed my disappointment in the lack of service she was able to guarantee (given that I had already been told something that wasn’t coming true) me she suggested I just cancel the reservation.

  Reservations were made online through the best western website January 1 for three rooms with requests for connecting rooms or rooms next door to each other and that the rooms be located on the first floor close to the play equipment. January 2 I called the hotel to ensure that all three rooms were on the ground level and connecting and/or beside each other and was assured we would get exactly what we were requesting.

  We had a fabulous time here. The water park/pool water was warm and the kids (7&5) rode the slides over and over again. The playground space was huge and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet (on the outside on the building). Lots of parking and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

  The facilities are nice even though I didn't use them. Looks like a great place for families with a pool and waterslide. Next time I'm bringing my bathing suit.

  One thing about this hotel that needs to be noted is that they have a large atrium housing children’s play equipment, basketball court, pool tables etc. that is turned into a large adult party. It reminded us of a “spring break” atmosphere. You would think you would wake up to a clean atrium in the morning – no – full garbage cans with garbage around them, food and garbage around the whole area, empty beer cans. It was disgusting. This is a place we are supposed to let our children play in?

  Also note – the roof in the atrium leaks - buckets were everywhere collecting water.
